I am hosting these three small pot-luck gatherings for the purpose of reporting and sharing about our ministry time in the Philippines.

These events are by invite only but of course, you can ask for an invite!

OPEN HOUSE DAY OF PRAYER – MARCH 1, 2016

A few days before I and Maggie Lam will be heading to the Philippines we are setting Tuesday, March 1st aside as a day of prayer from 9am to 9pm.

If you are in the Vancouver Lower Mainland you are welcome to drop by my parents home anytime that day to stay for a bit, as long as you have, for the purpose of praying together, committing the ministry time to come, to the Lord’s glory and honour.

If you are not in the Vancouver Lower Mainland area then we ask that wherever you are that you would set aside even 10 minutes to pray for CCIM in the Philippines 2016.

This day of prayer is in place of any small potluck meals as we may normally have, and in place of any dessert afternoons as we may normally have.

This day of prayer, 9am – 9pm, is the time to drop by and show up as you do your normal day, stay for 15 minutes or stay for a couple of hours.

We will have all and any information you may want to know about the trip to come, we will have tea on hand throughout the day – join us, we would love to have your prayers alongside our own.

DESSERT AFTERNOON – NOVEMBER 2015

If you are in the Greater Vancouver area, join us for an afternoon of hearing the latest at CCIM.

I’ll be briefly summarizing the past year, putting the present into words, and then visioning the future forward.

We’ve come to a juncture, a doorway so to speak, between all that has been and all that is to come. Join us to hear more.

WHAT I’M SEEING – MAY 2015 

I’ve been to approximately 100 village churches in less than four years. These have been in both Africa and in India, two different continents. And yet, I am seeing similarities in (some) of the responses of the people to my coming, most notably the single story of the west bringing money.

Because I bring no money except for our travel on the ground when I am there, the reactions are at times quite explosive and I am seeing this most everywhere I go. Something has gone wrong in our support and ‘help’ of the body of Christ around the world.

I don’t have answers although I do have a few thoughts and maybe together we can dialogue this out a bit as I share what I have been seeing.
