An Art Form

Leadership is an art form all its own. And like any art form, if done well, others rush to give back and to ‘return the favor’. For leadership that serves others sees others; sees the contributions and the essence brought to the table.

Leadership sees the genius in each person and brings those things out, making a way for others to shine.

A simple grid for affirming and valuing others is in three simple bullet-points:

This is what I saw

This is what I heard

This is what I felt

What we saw, heard, and felt, are simple yet powerful references that go a long way toward powerful collaborations.

For who of us can’t use a bit of encouragement, and solid feedback.
