When we know the next few things we must get done, it is wise to alert those around us of the focus, reminding that we won’t be available per usual, and generally mark off the hours necessary to stay on task.
We then take ourselves in hand, sometimes by the scruff of our collars, and get to it.
Stay with the task, keep the primary focus (all other focus’ will have their day), doggedly pursue the work, until it is done.
Take a break. Reconnect with those in your world.
Pause, and then repeat.
You’ll be amazed how much can be accomplished.
