We have multiple unspoken rules of engagement.
In every relationship there are the ‘way we do this’ woven in and around and through.
Change who you are, reinvent yourself for your future, and the ‘way we do this’ will shift and change as well.
It is what is meant when we say, “lose your life and you will find it”
Because the only way forward is in the strength that requires nothing from others, controls nothing about the future, and maintains an open hand in the most fearful of times.
