Often the deepest creative spaces hold a solid silence.

Upon entering these spaces we feel as though we are stepping on holy ground.

All sound is hushed as though in the depths of a very large cave.

Peripheral information is cut short and we see only what is in front of us.

At the same time our sense are attuned to the slightest breath.

We wriggle and lash out and find discomfort in this deeply creative place.

Yet only till we realize what is going on and that great works are afoot, only then can we settle into the silence and the muffled spaces to draw from ourselves work we hardly knew was there.
