How long and how hard can you work before taking a break?
We all have a different set-point on energy expended and value poured-out and when we violate that set-point, when we push too long and too hard for too many days, we set ourselves up for sickness and for burn-out.
As the Christmas holidays are approaching give yourself some extra time off.
Those days that you think are so vital, the ones that can’t possibly be given over to rest, won’t make a lot of difference in the grand scheme of things.
Ease off, invest in rest, and use the holidays for refreshment and a change of pace.
Your work rhythm will be stoked with fresh vim and vigor and you can then hit the new year running.
The strong ones know when to stop for a time.
