Risking Forward

The best of life is often a mix of emotions.

In fact, able to deal with mixed emotions is a mark of emotionally intelligent people.

Able to walk with ambiguity without all the answers in place is a mark of the mentally and emotionally strong.

We don’t have to know it all. We don’t have to have it all figured out.

There are unknowns and no guarantees.

But we go forward anyway. We strategically risk in spite of uncertainties.

Christmas is in fact all about this. Making a way when there was no way – despite the risks, despite the contempt, despite the losses.
