A Day Set Aside

If you can manage it, take a day set aside for brainstorming, forecasting, and strategic planning.

Leave your laptop at home. Set aside your phone.

Take in a beautiful setting, somewhere that helps your creativity come to life.

Make a commitment to hold all decisions to another day.

Give permission to allow any and everything to be considered.

Speak all the crazy ideas out loud and see how they land.

Jot down every idea, even the ones you don’t expect to run with (you never know).

Allow ambiguity, toss it all in the air, and then give yourself a few days to see what lands.
