Just a few days ago I sent out a request to our indigenous colleagues asking them to let me know how and to what extent they are using Capturing God’s Heart, a topical Bible Study that I send out once or twice a month.
We don’t have all the replies back yet, but our first three replies reveal what you see in this image.
We had no idea that these were being used to this extent, and this is only a few replies. What strikes me most is the multiplication factor. One of me, sent to three people, then impacting ( a conservative estimate given the unknown factor in India) anywhere from 15,000 to 20,000 people.
What I do know, is that this is God’s doing.
Quite frankly, these God’s Hearts are really hard for me to write. They certainly don’t flow like a blog post, and there is significant push-back in the process. Now I see why.
In addition to this, I’ve been a little insecure about them. I’m never really sure if they are any good. And the enemy would have me believing I’ve not had enough training to be writing these.
But the other thing I know, is that God simply asks us to show up, to risk, to put forth what we have, leaving the rest up to him.
It’s God’s work really, I just set myself down at my computer and allow the Holy Spirit to speak through me. I guess it is working.
Head over HERE to read one of the latest reports that came in. May we simply give gratitude together to God and for his ways.
I am gearing towards full-on travel and ministry to the many places that have invited me, to support this work you can Donate HERE.
My next trip is to Mozambique – either a one-time gift or a monthly commitment, either big or small, enables me to continue ministering God’s heart around the world.
“For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 2 Peter 1:5-8
