Our Holy Spirit

Subtle yet strong,
powerful in movment,
gentle in play,
a helper,
our comforter.

We are told ‘do not grieve her’
She is sensitive,
more indirect than direct,
but oh so clear.

She communicates with
those who do not mock,
She comess where she
is welcomed, iinvited.

Never pushing her way
but fully there, fully alive,
like the wind.

Sarayu, she has been called,
mighty wind,
all the colors of light,
too much for our eyes,
beauty unimagined.

A servant come to stay,
to woo us into intimacy,
friend of multitudes.

Our living water,
she breathes in us,
we breath through her.

From the foundation
of time and before,
she sees, and she
invites us to see
with her.

Through her wisdom
we are healed,
by her touch we are

We welcome you
Holy Spirit.
We love you,

Compassionate One,
Powerful One,
Fierce in her love.

“Then she was on the road. She preached with joyful urgency that life could be radically different; right and left she sent the demons packing; she brought wellness to the sick, anointing their bodies, healing their spirits.” Mark 6:12-13 The Message
