Peace is a powerful thing. Rather than a passive, as some would think it, lack of action peace requires intention and application.
Peace renders chaos and terror null and void. Peace removes authority unto destruction. Peace calms the storms and our hearts.
I’ve lived in places that contain a spirit of fear, peace removes this.
I’ve known relationships intent on chaos, peace calms this.
While the world wages war all around us peace can be found within us.
For peace is not something we wait for but peace is something we become.
Standing firm in our commitment to solutions we must not forget the transformative power of peace.
Waking on days when my spirit is at odds I simply declare peace over myself.
Fraught with worry over this or that I declare peace.
Against that which seeks to undo us we say ‘Peace’.
For terror, chaos, destruction cannot live in the presence of peace; evil is the antithesis to peace.
Declare the one and the other flees.
To turbulent finances we declare peace.
To difficult relationships we declare peace.
To troubled hearts and minds we declare peace.
In the name and the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ we say PEACE.
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you.” John 14:27
Because of Jesus we declare peace and bring our lives and hearts and minds into agreement with His peace.
We give over trouble we take on his peace.
We give over worry we settle into peace.
We let go our stress we welcome peace.
It begins in the quiet of our inner person and carries on out to the world.
We become the peace we want to see in the world.
Peace is not passive, it’s powerful and active and we can’t do without it.
Peace to you today.
