Sure, figure out what to put on your body, but at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter.

Spend your money on those great shoes, just remember, at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter.

Make your face what you want it to be, but don’t forget, it doesn’t really matter.

You are so much more than your clothes, your shoes, or your face.

Your face is NOT you. Your body is NOT you.

You are WAY MORE than what you look like or the purchases you make.

So your hair isn’t quite what you want it to be? No matter, we see the real you.

Your clothes don’t look how you want? It’s okay, we see the real you.

It’s harder to move, flexibility isn’t what it used to be, your stamina is shortened, pay it no mind, this does not define you, we see the real you.

And we want to see more of the real you.

To be sure, you want to take care of your body and figure out your style and every once in awhile glam up for a special day or evening. Absolutely. Knock it out of the park.

Just don’t get caught in the trap that this is the sum-total of who you are. Because it isn’t.

You are so much more.

At the end of the day, when the hours of your life are said and done, you will not look back and find yourself wishing ‘gosh my hair should have been straighter, or darker, or lighter, or … ‘ You simply won’t be thinking such things.

It will not matter.

So, today, live what matters.

How you show up, in spirit and soul, in generosity and love, in kindness and gentleness, this matters.

Your tenacity, strength of will, courage to move forward, clarity about the gifts you bring to the world, these things matter.

The wall you represent, where by life and action you declare a loud ‘this won’t happen on my watch’, this matters. Be this, whatever it means for you.

Live in integrity of soul and spirit and mind. Keep growing. Never stop learning.

Live what matters. Cast all that other stuff to the side. Stop wasting your focus on things that just, seriously, will . not . matter.

If it won’t matter at the end of your life it does not matter now. So, do what you have to do (we do want to see you in clothes and it is probably a good idea to comb your hair each day), but seriously, do not allow your life to be consumed with this which does not matter.

The car you drive, it doesn’t matter. The purse on your arm, it doesn’t matter. The shops where you make your purchases, it doesn’t matter. That last shiny nicknack on your counter or shelf, it doesn’t matter.

Make your life something that matters. Lead us. Inspire us by the choices you make.

We see the real you, and we want to see more.
