The gospel of Christ is not so much a transaction but rather an action undertaken on our behalf to which we awaken, day by day coming into healing and wholeness by the power of our risen Lord Jesus Christ; agreeing with Christ in the depths of our hearts makes for a vast difference in the kind of life we live.

Inner-healing prayer ministry is, in this way, a very specific process by which we come to the Lord to have our hearts and minds changed, and thereby our lives made new and fresh.

“Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes.” Romans 12:2 TPT

Prayer ministry is you and I gathering with God. We inquire of the Lord. We come to hear the Lord. Our Holy Spirit leads us. And what has been blocking us or holding us up in some way we simply bring to God. We put down what has proven false within us thereby taking on a new manner from the inside out.

It is not a work we do so much as a work God does for us and in us. We cannot make such transformation and healing and wholeness happen for ourselves. But we can come before God and have him do it within us. We invite the Lord with a solid ‘Yes’.

And bit by bit, in tiny yet profound shifts we experience the freedom that has been here for us all along; our invitation to God to do a work in the rooms of our heart is unparalleled in resulting wholeness.

“You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; you have loosed my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, that my glory may sing your praise and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to you forever!” Psalm 30:11-12 ESV
