Ambiguity

The deepest satisfactions come from that grand mixture of the comfort of the past, and the excitement of an unknown future.

Anticipation wraps all of what we have known, and takes it forward into what we do not yet know.

Deep satisfactions do not have to know everything in advance, they don’t have to control outcomes, and they are comfortable with ambiguity.

Become uncomfortable with the as-yet unknown, look forward, and bring the best of the past with you.
