To honestly be sad is an art form.
Too often instead of allowing sadness we rush to food or drink or tv or shopping or may even pour ourselves deeper into our work.
But running from sadness never solved a thing.
Rather, the goal is to be sad until one is not sad any longer. And I’m not talking about morose, negative or depressed behavior. Just pure and simple sadness.
Sadness not recognized goes on to play havoc in our lives. It is never validated unless we give it time. Once validated it is free to leave.
Give your sadness the attention it deserves. Make peace with it and peace will settle in to stay.
You bring restoration to my spirit and sadness. I think to get through the sadness it is almost like grieving. See you soon.
